I want to first thank everyone for all the love, calls, texts, messages, emails, and prayers you have showered on us this week! We are overwhelmed and incredibly grateful to have you all in our lives. We are very excited, as you can imagine...and it makes it that much sweeter that you all share in our excitement. Thank you!
As I said in my earlier post, adoption (whether domestic or international) can be extremely costly. We are trying to be wise with our finances so that we are able to care for our baby when he/she is placed in our family. In order to do that, we will try to raise money throughout our wait to cover some of the hefty adoption costs. Our next big expense will be our home study. One of the ways we would like to do this is to sell t-shirts. However, these shirts serve another purpose. We ask that after you purchase a shirt, you say a quick prayer for our little one each time you put it on or toss it in the washing machine. How incredibly overwhelming to see others wearing these shirts knowing that they have prayed for our sweet baby!
My incredibly creative younger sister took my vision and made it into a beautiful design! I cannot thank her enough! So, without further ado...

We have two choices: Sand and Chocolate Brown. The sand came as a request from our boys. Russ, Kristin, and Lee will be sporting a sand t-shirt. Plus, sand is just a very unique color in t-shirts. I will be wearing brown. Both turned out SO CUTE! And, I'm sure I'll probably end up wearing sand too! I think I'll get one of each! Thank you to ALL of you who have already requested one...or MORE! You are such a priceless part of bringing home Baby Johnson...whenever that may be! If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself, for your family members, or for a couple who may be struggling and praying for more themselves, simply contact me or leave a comment. I will be happy to supply! The cost is $18 for a shirt. Also, I'm trying this PayPal thing. If you would like one, and you know that you will need to have it shipped...you can order by clicking the "Add to Cart" button on my sidebar. Be sure to choose your size and color. I will mail them out as soon as I can! There is a shipping charge for that also, so be aware of that.
T-shirts will be in next weekend if all goes as planned. Also, I will have them at Corinth's Green Market on May 7. Kristin and I will have a booth called "Sisters Smith!" How appropriate! Ha! She has some pretty amazing things to sell including frames, furniture, wreaths, etc. Come by and show us some love!
Thank you all, again, for all your support and prayers over these last several years! There's no way to ever repay you.

Hey Megan! I'd love a t-shirt. What are the details for that? (martylcooper@gmail.com) Also, a couple at our church has recorded their adoption journey on their blog. There were many ups and downs, but they rejoice that God was constantly faithful. Will be praying for y'all! I'm excited about your journey!
I haven't commented before, but have been following your blog for awhile. I knew Russ from State and UMC. I originally found your blog through his fb page. I just wanted to share my support and plan on ordering a T-shirt myself!
