I am happy to announce that our "Praying for More..." t-shirts have arrived as of Friday night! I was so anxious to see what they looked like in person, and I was NOT disappointed! They are OH-SO-CUTE! See for yourself!

Once I calmed my excitement, it was time to get to work unpacking, rolling, and tying up! How much do you love looking at these boxes full of prayers for Baby Johnson!? Each t-shirt is a reminder for someone to think about and pray for our little one, wherever they may be or whenever they may be born! How special!

I made sure to document each moment to show our child one day, so that he/she knows just how much we wanted and prayed for them! And how many others joined with us!

I gave Russ the job of cutting the raffia to my exact measurements. We are only using things we already have in the house, so it was important we conserved. His job was very important! Ha!

Once they were wrapped, tied, and labeled with the size and a thank-you straight from our hearts, they were ready to go! Take a look at what you will receive! Please let me tell you how much love was put into each cut, tie, label, and rolled up shirt...SO MUCH!

For those of you in the Corinth area next weekend, I will have the shirts that are left at the Corinth Green Market all day. Kristin and I will have a tent called "Sisters Smith." She will have awesome creations too! Come by and give us love!

If you are not in the Corinth area, feel free to order through my PayPal on my sidebar. I'll ship it straight to you ASAP! Don't forget to choose your size and color. Shipping charges will be added to your order.

It's Mother's Day weekend. Do you know any mothers who are "praying for more" and feel forgotten on this difficult day? Give them this gift that reminds them they are not alone with a note letting them know you remember them and are praying with them as they wait for their own little one. Perhaps this is a good gift for your own mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law. Or maybe it's just for you! Whatever your reason, I can guarantee that our hearts are filled with such gratitude for your purchase! We are humbled by your support and love! Thank you in advance!
BTW...if you have a blog or Facebook, feel free to spread the news!

Found your blog from Joy at Confessions of a Southern Socialite. Thank you for sharing your story! I am a new follower, but more importantly I'm a sister in Christ lifting you up in prayer. I am looking forward to reading about what God has planned for you. Romans 12:12

Megan, I am so excited and happy for you and Russ as you begin this journey of bringing your baby home. Being adopted myself, it always hits close to home when I hear of someone adopting. I get very emotional when I think of the wonderful life that I've been given because of my parents' decision 27 years ago. I've had so many opportunities and been loved so much...and I am also thankful to my birth mother for wanting to give me a better life than she was able to. You and Russ are not only changing your lives, but a child's life. Thinking and praying for you both!!
Had to share this too. My mom has a baby pic with this poem framed in my room at home and it has meant more to me the older I've gotten.
Born not from our flesh but born in our hearts,
You were longed for and wanted and loved from the start,
Conceived from a blessing sent straight from above,
Our very own child at last home to love.
My Google account wouldn't log in properly earlier...the post above is from Mindi Shaalan Kern :)
cutest shirts EVER!!!!!!
Hey, I saw on Kelly's Korner that you were a fundraising family. I wanted to let you know of a program we are offering to fundraising families through The Sparrow Fund (www.sparrow-fund.org) that allows them to sell items like the ones on our fundraising Etsy site (www.thesparrowfund.etsy.com). If you are interested in learning more about it, feel free to email me and I'll send the info along!
