How Bad Do You Want It?

The Tim McGraw song, "How Bad Do You Want It," keeps ringing in my ears. First, because we wanted the NCAA tournament bad. I think we showed how bad we wanted it, and we were heartbroken in the last tenth of a second of our Kentucky game. Second, because my dad, Russ, and I showed how bad we wanted to watch the Dawgs play against Jackson State in the NIT Tournament Tuesday night.

Daddy drove into town just in time for the game. There was just one problem. Only ESPN U was showing the game. Well, Russ and I only have cable. No ESPN U! No problem! Daddy started pulling the following things out of a duffel bag: cable cords, plugs, satellite box, and a satellite dish!

How bad did WE want it? Just take a look!

We wanted it bad enough to set a satellite dish in our front yard no matter what the neighbors thought!

We wanted it so bad that we strung a cable through the front yard and over the front door because that's where it fit the best when the door shut.

We wanted it so bad that Daddy got out his tools to secure the satellite so that there was no chance of interference!

We wanted it bad enough to allow our living room/front door to look like that!

Yep. We wanted it pretty bad. It's a good thing too. We saw the game and enjoyed State's win against the Jackson State Tigers. Go Dawgs!

Hopefully our next game will come on cable. Especially since Daddy will soon leave with all this satellite paraphernalia.
