MSU vs. Georgia

Yes, last week's game was a FUN one! I wish all games could be this grand. Sigh. Maybe they will from now on. Maybe we have turned a corner. Maybe. Just maybe. Nonetheless, the Smith clan will be there cheering on their Dawgs. Cowbells in hand. Ringing so hard, dingers fly out at least once a game! Yep. We are true fans!

We had a few new visitors for this Georgia game. We left town early Saturday morning to set up, beat the crowd, and pick up the chicken. Once all that hard work is finished, it's time to sit back, visit, eat, walk around, or watch some TV.

This game was particularly exciting because Jennifer...are you ready for this?...had NEVER been to a college football game. In. Her. Life! Gasp! I know. It was a shocker! We broke her in good! Don't worry. Mississippi State ballgaming with the Smiths will change you. Ha! At least it will change your wardrobe. Right, Jen? Right, Jeff? Ha!

Aside from Jennifer's first ballgaming experience, we had lots of fun tailgating. The rest of the Smith family arrived, dressed fashionably as always. Can you tell I'm the "old lady" of the group?

Why are there no pictures of the guys yet? Well....because they only did one thing all day pretty much. Sit in chairs around the TV!

Closer to game time, it was time for Jennifer to try out her new cowbell! So, we walked down to the Dawg walk to watch the coaches and players walk through.

Please ring responsibly! Ha! Although, Russ told Jennifer that hers was so small, it probably didn't even count! So, she could ring hers whenever she wanted. Ha!

After a little walk around campus, we headed back to the tailgate for a little more food and fellowship before kickoff!

Before we knew it, gametime was here! Yay! Walking into the stadium and watching the team warm up is always fun for me.

I love the pregame shows too! This game, we had parachuters (is that a word!?) come from above to land midfield.
